For the second time in 10 days, the Anaheim Ducks will face off against their cross-state rivals, the LA Kings, for Round 2 of the Freeway Faceoff.
It has only been a short 10 days since the Anaheim Ducks last saw the LA Kings. Derek Grant‘s two goals propelled the Ducks towards a 4-2 win over their cross-state rivals, but since that game, they have only been able to pull off one game against the Minnesota Wild.
However, Anaheim hasn’t lost for a lack of trying. They have played some pretty decent hockey over the past two weeks or so, but small mistakes have cost them greatly. If they can limit taking penalties during crucial times of play, they have a good chance at going 2-0 in the Freeway Faceoff.

Anaheim Ducks Betting Odds & Lines
Anaheim Ducks: -133
Los Angeles Kings: +113
The Anaheim Ducks are tonight’s favorite to win, per the Action Network. While both teams won their most recent games, the Anaheim Ducks defeated the Los Angeles Kings 4-2 just 10 days ago. Despite being the two bottom Pacific Division teams, however, the Anaheim Ducks are slightly ahead of the Kings in almost every facet of the game.
Weather Forecast
According to the Weather Channel, it’s going to be a brisk 51º with light winds in Anaheim tonight. There is a slight chance of rain, but it looks like skies will be clear throughout the evening.
Fantasy Hockey
None of the Anaheim Ducks players are going to make waves on your fantasy team, but they could be a steady commodity for you. Ryan Getzlaf would be a great player to put on your roster tonight. He has one goal, 3 assists, 7 shots on goal, 3 blocks, 1 power-play point, and a +/- of -1 over the past 7 days. This has earned him a team-high of 27 points on Yahoo! and 11.40 points via ESPN.
If you have Brendan Guhle on your fantasy team, it might be a good idea to sit him on your bench or even trade him. He has been sent down to San Diego. He hasn’t been extremely effective since returning from injury and thus hasn’t put up a ton of fantasy points this season.
