Losing to a stacked Washington Capitals team can shake one’s confidence. However, the Ducks hope to exude fortitude tonight against a surprising Florida Panthers team.

Slowly, but surely, the facade that encompassed the Anaheim Ducks early in the season is being chipped away by both the best and worst teams in the NHL. They now bare their weaknesses for the whole league to see. However, when the team manages to find their confidence and band together as one, they are fighters.

After a disappointing loss against the Washington Capitals on Monday, the team needs to find common ground. They cannot use penalties as a tactic to keep the other team at bay (because it won’t work.) It is imperative that the team remain disciplined and Dallas Eakins find a resolve. Considering the circumstances, they can’t keep winning games by clinging to the coattails of one of their teammates either. Derek Grant isn’t going to score a hat trick every game and John Gibson can only do so much.

The Anaheim Ducks cannot go into tonight’s game with the expectation that they’re going to face the Florida Panthers they’ve faced the past few seasons. The team has radically changed since Coach Q took over behind the bench. Their offense is generating results, their defense, especially the top pairing, is challenging, and they have decent goaltending. For the first time since 2016, they’re looking at being possible playoff contenders.

In all facets of the game, Florida has the advantage tonight. However, the Ducks have pulled off a few surprises against teams they rightfully shouldn’t have won against. So, although this game seems like it may have been won before the puck even drops, don’t count the Anaheim Ducks out until the final buzzer sounds.

Anaheim Ducks Betting Odd’s & Lines

Courtesy of the Action Network, the Florida Panthers are -180 on the Moneyline for tonight’s matchup against the Anaheim Ducks. While the Ducks won their first contest on the road, the team has visibly struggled in every aspect of the game, aside from maybe goaltending.

With Coach Q behind their bench now, new life has been breathed into the Panthers. They have won five of their eight games in the month of November, and they have every advantage over the Ducks. Every one of Florida’s team stats, with the exception of penalties and hits, is far better than Anaheim’s. The Ducks may come into tonight’s game with a fighting spirit, but Florida is predicted to have the upper hand.

Weather Forecast

Tonight’s weather forecast doesn’t have much effect on the fans since the Ducks are playing in Florida and most of us are watching from home. However, if you’re in the area and plan on watching the game in Sunrise, per the Weather Channel, there is a slight chance of rain with light winds. The temperature is only predicted to dip down to 64º, but it should be a good night for hockey!
