Anaheim Ducks: The Freeway Faceoff Season Finale and Fan Appreciation Night
The Anaheim Ducks end 2018-19 against one of our greatest rivals, the Los Angeles Kings, in the final Freeway Faceoff of the season.
This year has been difficult for both Southern California teams. The Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks have spent a majority of the season stuck at the bottom, waiting for the dreadful season to end. While the rivalry between the two teams has fizzled out due to the current state of affairs, the Anaheim Ducks still hope to retain some of their pride and not get swept by their longtime cross-state rivals.
It’s the 25th Anniversary! We have to maintain some semblance of normalcy, right? So, tonight, we’re stirring the pot and heating things back up. The season finale and final Freeway Faceoff of the season begin tonight at 7:00 pm PST. Whether you’re watching from the seats in Honda Center or from the comfort of your own home, let’s end the season on a good note!

We Couldn’t Have Gotten Through This Season Without You!
If I could describe this season in one word it would be perplexing. While it was difficult to sit through one of the worst seasons of Anaheim Ducks hockey in the past decade, you, the fans, made this season worth it. Of course, we all dealt with our disappointment in our own ways, but for the most part, you guys made losing all the more fun.

Whether it was embracing the tank or trying to have enough positivity for all of Ducks Nation, the laughter, the jokes, and the sheer amount of fun we all had together made the 25th Anniversary season bearable to sit through.
The hockey community is such an underrated body of wonderful people. Unfortunately, the sport suffers sometimes due to lack of education and stereotypes. However, once you discover the beauty of the hockey community, you’ll begin to realize that it’s more than just a group of rough and tumble group of sports fans, it’s a family.
On behalf of all of the staff at Pucks of a Feather, I want to thank each and every one of you for helping us through this season. We appreciate all of your support and we have enjoyed cheering alongside you, whether it was cheering for a win or for a tank. Although it is going to be a long summer, don’t think you won’t be hearing from us. We have plenty of content coming down the pipeline for you over the next few months.
Fingers crossed that 2019-20 is a better year for the team we love. However, no matter the outcome, we can’t wait to continue to cheer alongside one of the best fanbases in the NHL (maybe we’re a little bias?) We hope you continue to tune in over the summer. Again, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and as always, Let’s Go Ducks!
