It may be the offseason, but the staff at Pucks of a Feather has been hard at works to bring our readers the best in Anaheim Ducks analysis and opinion. Here are the highlights from the week ending August 25, 2018.

Sunday 8/19

We had two very good features to start off the week on Sunday. Eddy Jones was first with the top five left wings in Ducks history. Number one is a no-brainer, Paul Kariya started a Hall-of-Fame Career in Anaheim. Numbers two through five, however, weren’t as easy to choose.

More from Pucks of a Feather

The second article was a very early look at some Ducks who could win 2018-19 individual awards. Some of the players in contention are John Gibson (Vezina) and Rickard Rakell (Richard).

Monday 8/20

Chris Bushell laid out three things that must happen in training camp for the Anaheim Ducks to have a successful season. We won’t give it all away here, but if you guessed playing faster is one of them, you are correct.

Wednesday 8/22

There was another good daily double on Wednesday. First up was a reaction to the Westgate Sports Book’s over/under futures Ducks point total prediction of 96.5 points. The house is going to lose on that one.

The back half of the twin bill came from Ciara Durant. She wrote a good editorial addressing Ducks Nation’s apprehension about this team’s veteran free agent signings this summer. The GM knows what he’s doing “In Bob we trust.”

Thursday 8/23

It was a very informative Thursday. The Expert Panel returned with an all-star lineup from all over FanSided. The question our experts tackled was one Ducks fans will have varying opinions about. Who or What will be the X-Factor in 2018-19?

Our resident Physical Therapist, Chris Bushell returned with the start of his new feature. He laid out a detailed strength and stretching plan for Gibson in order to avoid the groin issues that have plagued him early in his career.

Friday 8/24

Jake Robles had a nice article for the locals. It was about Southern California becoming the poster child for the grassroots development of hockey in a non-traditional market. The Anaheim Ducks have been front and center in developing the game in their own backyard.

Saturday 8/25

The week that was concluded with the next installment of the countdown to opening day. With 42 days left to the first puck drop, Josh Manson #42 was featured (a pattern is developing).
