Our Blake Navaro was an Anaheim Ducks season ticket holder for five years. Although he had to pass on them for 2018-19, he wanted to share his experiences.

For all who know me the real world, or on Twitter, you know I was an Anaheim Ducks season ticket holder for the last five seasons. It was an amazing five seasons, full of ups and downs. Players came and went. The team rose and fell in the standings, but I was always there. I wouldn’t have changed any of it; I loved being at Honda Center. To this day, I still call it my second home. Section 424, Row N, Seat 10 was my seat for more than 200 games.

Being There

I remember walking to my seats for the first time in September of 2013 and looking down to see the 20th anniversary logo on the ice. I remember thinking that I finally realized a dream. A dream of being an Anaheim Ducks Season Ticket Holder.  The pride and joy of being there never left me. I always looked forward to getting to the arena early for Warm Ups.

More from Pucks of a Feather

The perks of season tickets were always something I looked forward to. My favorite was always getting to skate on the Ice. Skating where some of my favorite athletes got to play. I would always imagine what it must have been like to actually play with the 17,000 seats filled. I’ll tell you this, The seats look a lot closer from the ice than they do when you are actually sitting in them.

Making Friends

Another memory I will have with me is meeting so many passionate fans. Many that I call my friends and will for a long time to come. Whether it was meeting up at intermission or after the game. I always looked forward to seeing my friends at the Honda Center. The Ducks are the bonding point for so many of my relationships in life. I’ve taken people who didn’t know a single thing about hockey and who are now die-hard Ducks fans. I take pride in that.

If you are on the fence about being a season ticket holder, I sincerely recommend the experience. You won’t regret it, you get to go to 41 games a year, guaranteed. What’s better than going to an Anaheim Ducks game? Not to mention you get a chance to meet the players at Fan Fest. Skate on the ice, and have so many memories that you can’t fit into a single article.

Having Season Tickets was the best decisions I’ve made in my life. I’ll most certainly be a season ticket holder again in the future. For right now, I’m excited to start my new life with my beautiful girlfriend. We will be around Honda Center a ton this upcoming season. With every game, I’ll be counting down till I’m a Season Ticket Holder again.
