Who doesn’t like free stuff? NOBODY, that’s who!
Listen up!
The Anaheim Ducks will square off against the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2015 Western Conference Finals beginning on Sunday, May 17.
In an effort to get our readers involved, we here at Pucks of a Feather have cooked up a friendly competition that is easy to do: make some picks, watch the games, and let glory surround you!
And if glory is not enough of a reason to take part, how about a brand spanking new Pucks of a Feather t-shirt, eh?
Boom!
Here’s how it works: I’ll toss out a few predictions each game day. You make your picks in the comments section below and I’ll keep a spreadsheet of all the players in order to track scores.
Pucks and Pitchforks
Furthermore, I have decided to include some pre-series picks in this post. The winner of our friendly competition will be determined by points, so it is possible to win even if you miss a game, although that is obviously not recommended!
The pre-series picks that I toss out today are high-risk, high gain, so not everyone who chips in today will earn points. The game day picks are a little easier when it comes to earning points, but they are also worth less points than the pre-series ones.
My advice? Do both!
I’d love to see a good chunk of Ducks Nation fighting for one of our t-shirts, so share this with your friends on Twitter and Facebook, and Let’s Go Ducks!
Pre-Series Picks (25 points each)
1. What will Frederik Andersen‘s save percentage be for the series (within .08)?
2. Pick one Ducks player and predict how many points he will have. If you are within 2, you earn your points!
3. Pick one Blackhawks player – same as #2.
4. How many overtime games will the series feature?
5. How many games will the series go?
Tell your friends, tell your enemies! Tell anyone you know! There’s a free t-shirt with someone’s name on it, so let’s have fun and try to look good doing it!
