Good morning, Anaheim Ducks fans! It’s another off-day, as the team prepares for its next game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday, which means another day to take the Teemu Selanne jersey retirement in before going back to the grind of the regular season.
While it is important for the Ducks to not get caught up in one moment, it’s difficult to just put the night aside: it was a celebration of the team’s most important player in franchise history. Still, this is a professional league, and being prepared and having a short memory are necessary to have continued success in the NHL. So, just as the Ducks will do its best to press onward from Teemu Night, we must as well: the show must go on. Here are some links to Ducks and NHL news to get the morning started.
