Anaheim Ducks Morning Links: Aftermath of Teemu Night

Good morning, Anaheim Ducks fans! Yesterday’s celebration and jersey retirement of franchise icon Teemu Selanne was a terrific ceremony and thrilling comeback. The team overcame multiple two-goal deficits, and behind a four-point effort from Rickard Rakell, the Ducks made a third period comeback and defeated the Winnipeg Jets 5-4 in the shootout.

However, one great event and game does not mean the Ducks can lose focus on the rest of the season. That was the Ducks’ sixth game of an eight-game homestand, where the Ducks have gone 4-2-0 thus far. The next game comes on Wednesday, when the Toronto Maple Leafs come to visit. That gives the team two days to compartmentalize the win and re-focus for the next opponent. The next big event on the calendar (outside of the next opponent) is the All-Star weekend, which is coming in a week and a half. Here are some links for Ducks news and news around the league.
