The Boston Bruins have announced that they have reached deals with restricted free agents Torey Krug and Reilly Smith. Both contracts are for one-year, $1.4 million.
Both Krug and Smith have missed training camp and the first four preseason games, but should rejoin the club soon.

Krug, 23, led all rookie defenseman in points (40) last season as he scored 14 goals and added 26 assists. The native of Livonia, MI led the Bruins in playoff scoring, tallying 10 points (2 G, 8 A) in 12 games.
Smith, also 23, enjoyed a solid first season in Boston. After being traded to the Bruins as part of the deal that sent Tyler Seguin to the Dallas Stars, Smith played in all 82 games, collecting 20 goals and 31 assists. He also added four goals in the postseason.
