Forward Ryan Malone and the New York Rangers have agreed to terms on a one-year deal, according to reports.
Malone, 34, is set to make $700,000 for the 2014-2015 season. The deal is a two-way contract.

In 2008, Malone signed a massive seven-year, $31.5 million contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Lightning used one of their two compliance buyouts on Malone before the final year of his contract.
Before his time in Tampa Bay, Malone spent three seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was also a member of Team USA for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Last season, Malone collected 15 points (5 G, 10 A) in 57 games. During his career, Malone has played 641 games and has tallied 179 goals and 191 assists for 370 points.
