Defenseman John Moore and the New York Rangers have agreed to a one-year deal, according to reports.
Moore, who was a restricted free agent this summer, is set to make $850,500 with his new deal next season.

In 74 games last season, Moore collected four goals and added 11 assists for 15 points. Moore played in 21 playoff games during the Rangers’ run to the Stanley Cup Final as he dished out two assists.
Originally drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the first round of the 2009 NHL Draft, Moore was shipped to the Rangers at the 2013 trade deadline as part of a deal that brought Marian Gaborik to Columbus for the rest of that season.
In 173 career games between Columbus and New York, Moore has tallied seven goals and 22 assists for 29 points.
