This afternoon the Anaheim Ducks announced on their official Twitter account the new numbers for eight Ducks players.

Here are the new numbers for those eight Ducks.

Four players that suited up for the Ducks last season swapped our their old numbers for new ones. Bryan Allen goes from No. 55 to No. 5 while Emerson Etem, Devante Smith-Pelly and Patrick Maroon no longer will have their rookie numbers.

Etem changes from No. 65 to No. 16, Smith-Pelly from No. 77 to No. 12 and Maroon switches out No. 62 for No 19.

The Ducks brought in four new faces this offseason and their numbers were revealed as well. Kesler sticks with his No. 17 from his days as a Vancouver Canuck and Nate Thompson keeps his No. 44, the same number he wore with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Dany Heatley wore No. 15 his entire career but will wear No. 51 in Anaheim. Clayton Stoner will subtract one as he wore No. 4 with the Minnesota Wild but will wear No. 3 for the Ducks.

Along with the new numbers, the Ducks will feature new away jerseys this season. The old third jerseys are now the official home uniforms and the away jerseys will be the same design but will be the usual white for away sweaters.
