As you may have heard, the Ducks have clinched a playoff appearance for the first time in eight years. But before we dive into the nitty gritty of the upcoming series against the Edmonton Oilers, let's take a moment to pause and reflect on the season that was for the Ducks. This list of totally fake and unofficial awards is an unserious take on the best and worst moments from the Ducks' 2025-26 season.
The Corey Perry Walk of Shame Award
Most embarrassing moment(s)
Named after Perry's infamous walk of shame after getting a game misconduct in the Dallas Stars' Winter Classic matchup against the Nashville Predators, this current Duck had a couple of regrettable moments during the 2025-26 season. He not only knocked the captain of Team Canada out of the gold medal match during the Winter Olympics, but he also ended the season for the captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs, making him one of the most hated players in Canada. Radko Gudas, you are the first recipient of the inaugural Correy Perry Walk of Shame Award.

The Jonas Hiller Sickest Style Award
Best equipment
Named after one of the most underrated goalies in Ducks history, who also had some of the best equipment flairs, this current Duck may have had some great masks, but his one-off tribute for The Offspring took top honors. Lukas Dostal, come on down and accept your award for the inaugural Jonas Hiller Sickest Style Award.

The George Parros Award for the Most Gentlemanly Violent Fight
Best fight of the season
Named after one of the most prolific enforcers in Ducks history, this recipient has been on the shelf for a few weeks with an injury, but he had one of his best games against the Nashville Predators in the early stretch of the 2025-26 season, notching a Gordie Howe hat trick. Ross Johnston, throw on that Bombay Jacket one more time and come accept your award.
The Trevor Zegras It's Tricky Goal Award
Filthiest goal
Named after the recently traded and often underappreciated Zegras, who had some of the most incredible and jaw-dropping goals in Ducks history. This award recipient's game tying goal in home finale was a thing of beauty, as he flipped a backhand shot over a sprawling Nikita Tolopilo. Even though there may be some recency bias involved, Leo Carlsson gets this inaugural award.

The Jakob Silfverberg Shootout Ace Award
Best shootout performer
Named after not only one of the most popular depth forwards from Ducks history, but Silfverberg was also clutch in the shootout with his patented wrister that was always ticketed for the top corner of opposing goalies' nets, which gave him a 42 percent conversion rate in the shootout. This year's award winner may have had an off year in his development and his stock has plummeted, but he was nails in the shootout, potting five goals with an 83 percent conversion rate. Mason McTavish, you are last award winner from this season.

Final thoughts
Congrats to this year's winners of our totally fake awards. If you could make up a fake award, what would it be? It's tough to remember every notable moment from an 82-game season and we're sure there's some other candidates. Regardless, enjoy this little bit of a reprieve Ducks fans, before things get serious against the Oilers on Monday.
