We’ve talked about possible Anaheim Ducks players in the Olympics, with Cam Fowler already being named to the Team USA roster. Today two more countries named their Olympic rosters today, Slovenia and Switzerland. The Ducks don’t have any Slovenian players, so…..yeah. However, the Ducks have a pair of Swiss players. Jonas Hiller was named to the Team Switzerland hockey roster and will be their starting goaltender for the second consecutive Olympics. Luca Sbisa was not named to the roster mostly due to injury. He is still out with his hand injury and is on injured reserve. If he were not injured, he would definitely be listed on the Swiss roster. Sbisa appeared for Team Swizterland back in 2010.

So, here is the updated list of Ducks participating in the Ducks:

Team USA:

D – Cam Fowler

Team Switzerland:

G – Jonas Hiller

There are still a number of countries still waiting to announce their rosters. Team Canada will announce their Olympic roster tomorrow and the Ducks have a slight chance of having a player named to their roster.
