Welcome to Pucks Of A Feather’s week in review, where we will provide links from the site breaking down the week of action for the Anaheim Ducks.

In the first of my in season prospect profiles, I break down the season Kevin Roy is having at Northeastern University. He is one of the more offensively gifted players the Ducks currently have in their system, it will be interested how his career unfold. (Kevin Roy profile)

After trading Peter Holland to the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Ducks made a second trade – acquiring Tim Jackman from the Calgary Flames for a sixth round pick in the 2014 NHL Draft. It didn’t take him long to make his presence felt on the ice, fighting Tampa Bay Lightning tough guy B.J. Crombeen on his second shift as a Duck.

The Injury woes continue for the Ducks, as Luca Sbisa, Viktor Fasth and Francois Beauchemin were all placed on injured reserve this week. It is the second trip to the IR for both Sbisa and Fasth. It is unknown how long Beauchemin will be out, but Sbisa had surgery on his hand and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks, while Fasth will be out at least a month.

Sean continued his weekly #TriviaThursdays celebrating the Ducks 20th anniversary with the following question,

"On this day (Nov 21) in 2006, the Ducks beat the Sharks at home 5-0 – name the four different goal scorers."

The answer was Chris Pronger, Ryan Getzlaf, Teemu Selanne twice, and Francois Beauchemin. Congrats to those who got the question right, and congrats to @philloveshockey who currently sits atop the standings.

Finally, Bruce Boudreau didn’t seem overly concerned about the Ducks five game losing streak, and he is looking like a genius now as they have won two in a row – quickly putting the losing streak in the rear view mirror.
