Back on the road before Thanksgiving, the Anaheim Ducks hope to channel their winning spirit and light the lamp in Arizona tonight.

Monday’s win against the Islanders was a nice treat after watching the Anaheim Ducks lose so many games throughout the month of November. John Gibson was awarded his first shutout of the season, and after all his hard work on the night, he certainly deserved to see the other team walk away scoreless. After a short stint at home, however, the Ducks are back on the road before heading back home to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families.

Anaheim Ducks Betting Odds & Lines

Anaheim Ducks: +131

Arizona Coyotes: -145

According to the Action Network, the Arizona Coyotes are tonight’s favorite to win the game, sitting steadily at -145 on the Moneyline. Despite the Anaheim Ducks’ fantastic performance against the New York Islanders on Monday, we simply cannot ignore Arizona’s 14-8-3 record. They currently have their hands on the second-place division spot and have been a sweet surprise for the league this season.

They’ve had more time to rest than the Ducks, without the added stress of traveling, and will have the home-ice advantage tonight. However, the Ducks could continue to ride the momentum from Monday’s win against the Islanders into tonight’s game. While they are the underdogs, don’t count them out.

Weather Forecast

According to the Weather Channel, it is currently overcast with sporadic showers in the Phoenix area. A wind advisory is expected to take effect starting at 8:00 pm MST. While tonight’s high is predicted to be 67°, the rain combined with the wind will make for a chilly evening. A jacket, especially one that is waterproof, is highly suggested.

If you’re watching the game in the Orange County area, the weather is predicted to be very similar but with a higher chance of rain. Rainfall is predicted to be near half an inch. A nice quiet evening at home watching the Ducks game at home will likely be your best option if you want to avoid traffic. Drink some hot cocoa or warm cider and soak up the spirit of Thanksgiving as you, hopefully, watch the Ducks take down the Coyotes.
