The Anaheim Ducks are feeling the effects of their two-game losing streak against the Rangers and the Bruins. Are they able to put the pieces together tonight or will they get caught in the stampede?

The Anaheim Ducks are fresh off a two-game losing streak against the New York Rangers and the Boston Bruins. Fortunately, this still gives them a little wiggle room to stay in third place in the Pacific Divison. However, if they have any hopes of staying there, something needs to change.

The fact that they didn’t get shut out in Boston on Thursday is nothing short of a miracle. The young defenseman, Joshua Mahura, scored his first NHL goal, saving the Ducks from a 0 goal game.

There is one thing working in the Anaheim Ducks favor tonight. The Buffalo Sabre’s are entering their second game in a back to back after a disappointing loss to the Washington Capitals.

Late in the third period, Tom Wilson scored the game-winning goal for the Caps. That’s a hard pill to swallow after the phenomenal effort the Sabre’s put into that game.

Did You Know? Ryan Getzlaf‘s biggest pet peeve in hockey is diving.
