3) Who will lead the defenseman in scoring for 2018-19?

Chris Bushell – D scoring, I’m going with Cam Fowler. It’s his D core to lead now and think he will couple his improved play in the D zone along with more scoring too. Having Montour as his blueline partner should help that too.

Ed Stein – Cam Fowler. We say it every year, but I truly believe his time is now. If the Anaheim Ducks can get their act together on the power play, Fowler could put up 50 points. After him, Lindholm has a shot at 40 points. He has the skills to do it.

Jake Robles – I’d have to say, Brandon Montour. I think Monty will hopefully get more PP time this year and that could help his production tremendously. He’s really starting to find his game and I mean, if Tyler Seguin says he’s impressed by you, I’d say you’re seen as a threat and that definitely can be used to your advantage.

Eddy Jones – I think Montour is going to be utilized more on the power play and if he stays with Cam Fowler I think he’ll lead the team in scoring from the blueline. I’d give an outside chance to Hampus Lindholm, as his goalscoring totals last year we’re a nice surprise!

Ciara Durant – I think we’ve got a really solid top four on the blue line, so really, it’s fair game for any of them. I do, however, think that Fowler will lead the group. Hopefully, he will stay healthy this season. His injuries last season were a real detriment to his point production. I have written at length about the high hopes I hold for CF4! Leading the defenseman this next season would just be the beginning!
