As we continue our celebration of the Anaheim Ducks upcoming 25th season, we turn to the men between the pipes. The Ducks have had some real gems defending the crease in their short time in the league. It’s a trend that will hopefully continue for years and Cups to come. This is our top five goalies of all-time.

In football, its said you need a defense to win in February. In baseball, you need pitching to win in October. Finally, in hockey, you need goaltending to win in June. The masked men are the last line of defense and can make or break a teams chance to hoist the Stanley Cup overhead.

The Anaheim Ducks have had a number of great netminders in their quarter-century of existence. From goaltenders that started the franchise off on the right foot, to ones who have reached the pinnacle, to one that could become the greatest of them all. The tradition is rich. So here are the top five Ducks goalies off all time.
