Jonathan Blum

What a long strange trip its been for a kid from Newport Beach to Vladivostok, Russia. Blum actually started out as an inline hockey player before discovering ice hockey while in elementary school. The wiry defenseman played junior hockey for the Vancouver Giants after attending Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo.

Blum played parts of four NHL seasons with Nashville and Minnesota before heading to the Kontinental Hockey League. This year he represented the United States at the 2018 Olympics.
