What did you think of our #10 Choices in George Parros and Cam Fowler? On to #9

Each day over the next two weeks we will feature a countdown to who we think the best player in Ducks history is.  This won’t be your standard list, our criteria is based on Longevity, Statistics, Team Impact, and Fan Appreciation. We could choose from combination of all four or just one, there will be players that are expected along with a few unexpected additions. Myself and Megan Brown each made our own determinations, so there will be two mentions for each placement. Some you may agree with some you my wonder what we were thinking and that’s why this is fun.

The #9 all time Duck is…

Megan Brown #9

Ryan Kesler

Ryan Kesler hasn’t been in Anaheim long, But “Kes” is an integral part of the teams identity-gritty and hard working. It did not take Kesler long to establish himself as a leader both on and off the ice, he has proven himself with the team and the fans.

Lawrence #9

Francois Beauchemin

Francois Beauchemin has worn the Ducks uniform twice and was a major player in the 2007 Cup Championship. “Beauch” was and still is one of the most respected players in the league, his point shot still makes goalies flinch and his presence on the blueline was always felt. He was the universal defenceman for Anaheim, pair him with anyone and the pairing would succeed. He helped Cam Fowler and Hampus Lindholm learn the game at the NHL level, all while being in the top of the list in minutes played every game.
