Seeing the glass as half-empty is no fun at all; let’s head into the offseason with a glass half-full!

It’s the most painful time of the year for Anaheim Ducks fans, as we’re all stuck watching the Chicago Blackhawks and the Tampa Bay Lightning battle for Lord Stanley’s Cup, lamenting another Game 7 collapse by Ryan Getzlaf and company.

Here at Pucks of a Feather, I have already asked the questions, who is to blame for the Ducks’ latest collapse, and would James Wisniewski have made any difference in the final outcome?

In addition, I discussed rumors about whether the Anaheim Ducks will be looking for a new head coach soon, as Bruce Boudreau could be on the hot seat.

It’s true – Anaheim had the potential to win it all this season, and watching them lose to Chicago has the potential to make the most ardent fan see the glass as half empty . . . which is where I’m here to slap you out of that funk and give you reason to feel good about this team.

Forget the fact that things could be way, way worse – I mean, the Edmonton Oilers have had a top ten pick six years in a row (seven counting this year), including three consecutive number one picks, with another one coming on June 25.

And that team hasn’t made the playoffs since 2006.

So quit yer bitching (or at least cut it in half) and enjoy these four reasons why you should feel good about Anaheim’s 2015-2016 season.
