Taking care of business quickly is key to making a run for the cup. The Winnipeg Jets gave an incredible effort in round one but the Ducks were able to take care of business. A clean four game sweep of the Jets has given the Ducks a few extra days of rest and recovery. The luxury of a dominant first round performance is that the Ducks were given the chance to heal their wounds and get back to full strength. The Calgary Flames will travel south later in the week to square off against the Ducks with a chance to reach the western conference finals on the line . This second round battle will come with excitement, grit and eventually disappointment for one team.

In order for the Ducks to avoid that disappointment and escape another early playoff exit, a few players must step up. They may not be the guys who will score all the goals or rack up the points, but there are three key players who can change the outcome of a game or even the entire series.
