The Calgary Flames executed a Duck like comeback in game 6 of their opening round series against the Vancouver Canucks. The Flames scored four un answered third period goals to win game six and take the series four games to two and advance to the second round. For the first time since 2006, the Ducks and Flames will meet in the playoffs. That 2006 first round series went seven games and the Ducks came out on top. This series could certainly be another thrilling matchup with a ton of drama. The Ducks and Flames both pulled off a number of incredible third period comebacks throughout the regular season as well as to start the playoffs. No lead will be safe in this series.

A number of players could be considered key to their teams success in this series. Goaltending is clearly important, but there are three players on each team that can dominate and change the fate of a game or even a series.
