Nov 25, 2014; Anaheim, CA, USA; Anaheim Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen (31) during the third period of the Ducks

Second Star: Frederik Andersen, G (W, 2.00 GAA, .941 SV%)

Andersen had to be extremely sharp for the Ducks. Unlike the game last Tuesday, when he allowed three goals on 19 shots, this game had a lot more pace and a run-and-gun feel to it. The Flames would get a chance on one end, and then the Ducks would break out and get their own chance. Andersen faced more shots in the opening 40 minutes (26) than he did in the entire 65 minute contest against Calgary (19), yet he was able to stop every one. The Ducks lost Beauchemin in the game to an upper-body injury, making the game much more difficult for the remaining five defensemen. Andersen was up to the task, playing another spectacular game.
