On a night where the Ducks looked fatigued and didn’t have their skating legs, Beleskey played really well on the top line. He threw the body around and was effective on the forecheck, as he usually does. He filled in the hole left by Patrick Maroon after the big winger was injured on Monday, and the top line didn’t seem to miss a beat. Beleskey scored a goal for the third straight game and won his share of numerous puck battles, another area the team struggled to succeed in. Both on and off the score sheet, Beleskey really impressed.
