The Anaheim Ducks have had a strong goaltending core in seasons’ past, and much of that is due to their depth at the position.
While not in the immediate limelight, depth netminders can provide solid competition within the depth chart, provide veteran leadership, and gain experience at the AHL level if they are not ready for primetime, or if there is a bottleneck in the system.
The Ducks currently have youngsters Frederik Andersen and John Gibson fighting for the No. 1 spot in between the pipes. Both will get ample opportunity to take over the position next season.
But what if something happens to either of the two goalies in Anaheim? Here are the “other two” goalies that are in the Anaheim Ducks system that could see some time in Anaheim next season.
