Strengths:

Matt Beleskey absolutely loves to get physical with the opponents: he is always eager to dish out checks and go hard on the body. He also makes a living going to the dirty areas of the ice, such as the corners, and he is always willing to engage in puck battles. Beleskey possesses an excellent motor: when he’s on the ice, Beleskey always makes a point to make his presence felt, especially on the forecheck and physical aspects of the game. He’s a battler and hard worker: Beleskey constantly fights through traffic to put his team in a position to succeed. Beleskey also has a pretty good shot, coupled with good offensive instincts. He’s always looking to set himself up around the net, and he crashes very well.
