What Could Have Been – Paul Kariya
If Paul Kariya had dedicated his whole career to the Anaheim Ducks and retired concussion free in a Ducks uniform he would be the franchises greatest player. Paul Kariya’s points per game with the Anaheim Ducks is higher than any player in franchise history and he is the current longest-serving captain in Anaheim Ducks history. There would be a serious debate between Teemu And Paul if we could have seen him finish a healthy career in Anaheim.
As for now, On January 11th we have the privilege of seeing the number of one of the greatest to ever play the game raised to the rafters in Honda Center and wonder if we will ever see another player like Teemu wear an Anaheim Ducks jersey.
