3. Stephen Noesen– Had it not been for a terrible knee injury at the beginning of last season, and the phenomenal performance Kerdiles put on at development camp Stephen Noesen may be No. 1 on this list.

Noesen was part of the return the Ducks received in the Bobby Ryan trade and is an incredible piece to have. Noesen is a former first round selection by the Ottawa Senators and he was poised last season to compete for a spot on the Ducks. Unfortunately two torn knee ligaments held Noesen to only four games in the playoffs for the Admirals last season. He picked up four assists in the games he played but missing a whole season has set his development back a bit.

Noesen proved he was a star at the Canadian Junior level, in 215 total games played Noesen recorded 220 points. Easy math tells us that a little over a point per game and if that translates to the next level he could be an All-Star in the making. To give some perspective of how big an All-star the ex-GM of the Ducks and now GM of the Ottawa Senators said Noesen reminds him of Corey Perry. If Noesen becomes even half the player that Perry is the Ducks will be in great shape.

Noesen will most likely start the year in Norfolk but if he picks up where he left off before the injury and can produce at the AHL level like he did in the CHL you could see him get some time with the big club by Christmas.
