The Anaheim Ducks have one of the best if not the best prospect pools in the NHL. They have consistently drafted and developed young talent into NHL stars. Last season alone saw the promotions of prospects John Gibson, Frederick Andersen, Devante Smith-Pelly, Emerson Etem, and Rickard Rakell.

So the question is who will get the call up this season? With the trades for Ryan Kesler and Nate Thompson and the free agent signings of Dany Heatley and Clayton Stoner some spot once thought open see to be filled. However ice time is earned, and prospects can just as easily take over veteran spots should they perform better, or take over due to injury.

With that said here are the five prospects I believe will see in at least one game in a Ducks sweater.
