Beleskey played well enough on the top line last year to start the playoffs on that line.  He, Getzlaf and Perry had obvious chemistry.  The only thing really keeping him off the line were injuries sustained through the playoffs.

Beleskey is a hard-nosed forechecking winger that likes to get to the dirty areas and has a goal scoring touch in the offensive zone.  He’s almost like a younger and quicker version of Dustin Penner.

The only thing keeping him off the line is competition from the other wingers.  Boudreau keeps his players on a short leash, so if Beleskey stops producing on the top line he’s out in favor of one of the other players on this list.
