4. First Career Hat Trick

Obviously this is not one play, but we’ll count it here.

Last season on Feb. 2, Bonino recorded his first career hat trick against the Los Angeles Kings. The first goal was as pretty as they come as Bonino made a nifty move around the Kings’ defenseman and slid it into the open net.

The second one was the definition of puck luck, but if it hits the twine, does it matter?

The final tally came on the power play in the third period as former Duck Bobby Ryan fed him a nice backhand pass to the left of Quick and Bonino did the rest to complete the hat trick.
