Next Tuesday, June 24th is the NHL awards.
Previously mentioned GM Bob Murray is up for the GM of the year, and Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf is up for both the Hart Memorial Trophy (MVP) and the Messier Leadership Award.
Ducks fans don’t need to be told just how valuable a player and how good of a leader Getzlaf is to this team.
It’ll be interesting to see how he fares against the likes of Crosby, Giroux, Toews, and Brown.
