Briefing: The Los Angeles Kings look to take home the Stanley Cup for the second time in three years with a victory tonight over the New York Rangers. The Kings took Game 3 easily as LA got goals from Jeff Carter, Jake Muzzin, and Mike Richards while netminder Jonathan Quick turned aside all 32 shots he faced for a 3-0 shutout. New York doubled the Kings in shots on goal, but weren’t able to solve Quick. The Rangers look to keep their slim hopes alive tonight in Game 4.

Briefing: The Angels continued their hot streak with a 2-1 walk-off win in last night’s contest. Collin Cowgill was the hero with a solo homer in the 14th inning to give the Angels their fifth straight victory. The Angels now sit 2.5 games back from the A’s for first place in the American League West.
