Team Sweden has some of the biggest names in defense from the NHL. These players are also often overlooked. They are the types of defensemen who make their mark without over shadowing the forwards or their net minder. Rest assured, their goal tender knows and appreciates all they do. Trying to predict pairings will be tough, as only one defenseman is listed as a right-handed shooter. There is a good mix of veteran experience and upcoming youth on the team that should help Sweden both now and in the future.
