Anaheim Ducks’ Daily: 2/8/14

Good Morning Anaheim Ducks Fans!!! It’s game day again and it’s the last game before the Olympic break. Let’s end this day on a good note and head into the break on a high note! As you prepare for tonight’s game against the Nashville Predators, here is your morning news.

To get you ready for today’s game, here’s a quick look at what the general consensus is saying about tonight’s match-up in Nashville. We will have our own opinions on the matter posted later today.

Your prospects in Norfolk got a huge shut out against the Hartford Wolf Pack last night. John Gibson Stood tall and blocked every shot he faced. It was a close game, but Chris Wagner got the deflection for the game’s only goal.

Yesterday, a video was released which showed Cam Fowler as “Cam America”. It features the Anaheim Ducks’ Olympians Teemu Selanne, Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf, and of course, Cam Fowler. I think Selanne steals the show (it seems to be his thing this year).

In other Olympic news, there have been several roster changes made due to injury. Here’s a quick rundown on what’s happening as the teams and players begin to converge in Sochi, Russia.

We will have coverage of all the Ducks heading to Sochi coming up for you in the next two weeks. Team previews are forthcoming; though not to overshadow tonight’s important games. Stay tuned for our coverage and LET’S GO DUCKS!!!!!
