Well, what do you say about being shut out twice in a row? Let’s just put that behind us and look ahead to the next game on Saturday against the Nashville Predators.

Last night’s game seemed to lack a certain something. A combination of senseless mistakes, a lack of real urgency, and lack of scoring all combined for the second shutout in three games. If you are feeling like you need to be kicked, or if you missed the game, you can read about it here.

The Anaheim Ducks Power Players have a calendar; and it’s available for sale. If you are interested in seeing scantily clad hockey women you should check it out here. It’s only ten dollars and you need a calendar anyway, so buy one!

Are you a poker player? Are you in the mood to take on some L.A. Kings’ fans in a quest for cash prizes? Check out this low-cost poker tournament, it’s for charity anyway! Have some fun and help people in need. You’ll feel good afterward so everyone wins.

Do you ever wonder about how players ended up becoming the competitors they are today? Where did they come from and how did they become professional athletes? Check out the “My Hometown” series on the Duck’s players. This episode is on Jonas Hiller.

Hopefully that brightens your spirits after last night’s attempt of a game. Maybe it wasn’t quite as bad as it seems, that second goal just took the wind out from under our wings. Go forth and smile; we’re still number one in the league!
