Jeff Deslauriers Reassigned To Fort Wayne Komets

Fort Wayne, IN – The Anaheim Ducks have reassigned Jeff Deslauriers to the Komets. Deslauriers was the backup to Viktor Fasth while Jonas Hiller was recovering from injury.
The St. Jean-Richelieu, Quebec native has been in the Ducks organization since 2011 when he signed as a free agent in the off-season. Before that he was in the Edmonton Oilers organization and appeared in all three levels there.
Last year the 28 year-old appeared in four games going 3-1-0 and having a save percentage of .903 and a GAA of 2.74. The last time Deslauriers was in the ECHL, he played for Greenville Road Warriors for 17 games between the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons going 9-7-1 with a 2.56 GAA and a .903 save percentage.
The nine year pro was in net for the Norfolk Admirals for just two games with one win and one loss.
To make room on the roster, Marco Cousineau has been placed on Injured Reserve with lower body injury.
