Classic Ducks Game Highlights: Anaheim vs Los Angeles Kings – Nov 13, 2007

In order to help entice you to vote in this week’s NHL Network Fan Vote that we told you about yesterday, here are some of the great moments from the game which has been nominated as one of the top rivalry games of the past five years.

Nominated for the vote is the classic November 13th, 2007 4-3 shootout win over the LA Kings at Honda Center. Check out the video highlights below, and read through a summary from after the game written in 2007.

Read the full game summary from AnaheimDucks.com here. A quick highlight from the summary:

"The physical game had several skirmishes, the last between Chris Pronger and Michal Handzus after the horn ended the overtime period and Handzus shot the puck at Ducks goalie J.S. Giguere. Pronger landed several uppercuts to Handzus’ body in the scuffle, and received an instigator penalty in addition to the fighting major. Because the instigator minor occurred with less than five minutes remaining, Pronger will receive an automatic one-game suspension, according to NHL rules. However, the league will likely review the video and see if Handzus through the first punch, as Pronger claimed after the game.“He shot the puck after the whistle,” Pronger said. “I went into him. He tried to come back at me. I threw him into the boards. He started swinging, so I reciprocated, and that was the end result.”"

Now, remember to GO VOTE for the game!
