What are you, New?

Yeah, I am.

I just thought I’d introduce myself here as the new writer here for the Ducks Daily Blog.My first hockey game ever was in the late 80’s. It was a Kings v. Penguins game at The Forum. I was about 7 or 8 years old and specifically remember rooting for the Penguins because everyone else around me was going for the Kings and I felt bad for the Penguins.I’m not much of a Penguins fan today (although I do have to say that their recent 3rd jerseys are pretty damn hot) but that feeling of rooting for the underdog seems to be appropriate for someone who has been following the Ducks since their mascot lit itself on fire.

But after all of the derogatory remarks, all that can be said about Disney (which still makes me cringe, to be honest), we’re still the only CA team with a Cup, which is enough to speak for itself.

I hope that I can help contribute to this blog in positive ways. I tend to be a bit sarcastic, maybe even sardonic at times, but I try to take a step back and give things a fair shake in most situations. Hopefully it doesn’t take me too long to hit my stride in writing for the Ducks Daily Blog. Actually, I just hope that I can come up with enough stuff to write about.
