The lords of Fansided have asked us writers to post what we are thankful for regarding our chosen subject, so I figured I’d better post today because tomorrow I’ll be too busy hoping the chestnut stuffing doesn’t burn and the poached pears aren’t overcooked.
The list might seem a tad long, but I mean every single word from the bottom of my heart.
1. Jean-Sebastian Giguere
2. JSG’s ability to say precisely the wrong thing at the right moment:
Interviewer: Have you ever been able to enjoy your Conn Smythe trophy?
Jiggy: NO
Interviewer: How does it feel to have moved to a new team [Toronto] so quickly?
Jiggy: It’s nice to be in a town where people actually care about hockey.
