On Thursday, Corey Pronman of ESPN.com released his Top-50 NHL Prospect List for ESPN Insiders. The list contains who he believes are the 50 best skater prospects and 10 best goalie prospects who are not currently playing at the NHL level. The Anaheim Ducks, which is regarded as having one of the deeper prospect pools in the NHL, had three players named on Pronman’s list.

The list is only limited to players who have played fewer than 25 NHL games this season, fewer than 50 career NHL games, and are currently not in the NHL. That means players like David Pastrnak are not on the list, as he is currently on the Boston Bruins’ NHL roster, despite not hitting either games played benchmark (he has appeared in nine). It, like every other list, is subjective and opinion-driven, and the rankings are not universally agreed on. That said, here are the three prospects on Pronman’s list.
