Anaheim Ducks Poll: Preseason Hockey

The Anaheim Ducks open up their preseason schedule on Sept. 22 with a split-squad match-up against the Colorado Avalanche. One squad will travel to Colorado while one will stay in Anaheim to play at Honda Center.

Sept. 22. Exactly two weeks from today.

No it’s not October yet, but it’s still hockey.

It’s been a long summer for Ducks fans. Their beloved hockey club is looking to recover from the second round, Game 7 debacle against the Los Angeles Kings. Everyone in Orange County has been itching for hockey to return, especially with new additions Ryan Kesler and Dany Heatley now in the fold.

Of course, preseason hockey isn’t the same caliber of hockey that you’ll see in April, let alone October. But at this point, we’re all ready for some form of hockey right?

Will you be attending any preseason games over the coming weeks? Or will you be waiting for the real deal?

Below you’ll find the Ducks’ preseason schedule for this season.

There are some intriguing games on the preseason schedule, which include contests against the Kings and San Jose Sharks. The preseason is also a great time to see up-and-coming prospects on both sides of the ice. Not to mention, the Ducks will also play two Futures Games against the Sharks on Sept. 13 and 14.
