Ryan Getzlaf

By the time Ryan Getzlaf retires from hockey he may be the longest-serving captain in Anaheim Ducks history, as well as breaking a few of Selanne’s current franchise records along the way. Currently Getzlaf sits in third on the Anaheim Ducks all-time scoring leaders. At 29 years of age he is 380 points behind Teemu Selanne and it isn’t a stretch to say he could eventually pass him.

If Getzlaf remains an Anaheim Duck for his entire career he could very-well go in the the history books as the franchises greatest player. However, it is hard to compare anyone with Teemu and even if Getzlaf finishes with more points than Teemu and captains the Anaheim Ducks until the end of his career, many will find it difficult to say one is greater than the other.
