Anaheim Ducks Will Open 2014-2015 Season In Pittsburgh

It may seem early, but today the NHL announced the home openers for all 30 teams. As for your Anaheim Ducks, they will head to Pennsylvania as they will open the 2014-2015 regular season against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, Oct. 9.

The Ducks will likely be on the road a few more games before returning to Anaheim on Friday, Oct. 17 for its’ home opener against the Minnesota Wild.

After revealing the home openers, the NHL will release the full 2014-2015 regular season schedule Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. PT.

Anaheim played Pittsburgh twice last season, both losses. The Ducks had three games against the Wild, finishing with a record of 2-1.
