So, while I was writing a post on why the Anaheim Ducks should not make any trades, they apparently made three of them. So, the Anaheim Ducks trade:

receives:

F – Dustin Penner

receives:

2014 4th Round Pick

receives:

G – Viktor Fasth

receives:

2014 5th Round Pick

2015 3rd Round Pick

Those two trades have been announced and this one appears to be almost finished:

receives:

2014 5th Round Pick

2015 3rd Round Pick

receives:

D – Stephane Robidas

UPDATE: THE ROBIDAS TRADE IS NOW OFFICIAL!

Well, this is all kind of a bit shocking. Not Fasth being traded but certainly, Dustin Penner, aka Pancakes, being dealt on National Pancake Day. So, now there are all kinds of rumors about the Ducks being one of the front-runners for Thomas Vanek. I don’t know how I feel about that right now. It looks obvious that Bob Murray is cookin’ a somethin’ up.
