Ducks’ Daily: 3/3/14

Hey Anaheim Ducks’ fans! It’s the day after a great win against the Carolina Hurricanes and we’ve got the news out as an evening edition.

This morning we ran a piece about possible trade routes for the Ducks. Today the Nashville Predators placed Devan Dubnyk on waivers. This could open up the door for some discussions for the Ducks. Maybe the Ducks will end up with young defenseman Michael Del Zotto?

What ever the Ducks decide to do, they are keeping everything quiet. This could mean there is nothing going on or that there’s something huge in the works. Time is running out if they plan to make a move which also means we don’t have long to wait before we know the outcome of what is happening.

Rumors are also circulating about Martin Brodeur being moved. That also means there would be an opening in goal in New Jersey. Keith Kincaid is a strong goalie for the Devils’ organization, but I don’t think he is quite ready to move up just yet. The irony would be hilarious if Roberto Luongo was moved from Vancouver to New Jersey.

We’ve got a couple nights off before the Ducks take the ice again. In fact, it’s not until after the trade deadline that they Ducks play again. Let’s just enjoy all the rush and hubbub floating around other teams right now. Don’t lose sleep, everything will be ok.
