Anaheim Ducks Fan Born And Raised In Anaheim!

Hi to all my fellow Anaheim Ducks fans! My name is Mike Walters.  I was born and raised in Anaheim California. I grew up in the 80’s watching the Angels and Rams. In the 90’s I added the Ducks to my list of favorite teams. My mother surprised me with a season mini-plan to the Ducks’ 1993 inaugural season. We went to the first game and instantly became hooked on the sport of hockey and the Ducks team! We have had season tickets or a mini-plan ever since!

The Anaheim Ducks are a family affair for me. My parents, Aunt and Uncle, my wife and I go to the games together.  We enjoy spending time with our family at the games.  I have a few rituals that I do when I go to the games and will share those with all of you in a later on.

I am also a collector of Anaheim Ducks’ hockey jerseys and have many jerseys including the rare 1995-6 Wild Winger 3rd Alternate jersey.  I love talking about the past jerseys to the current jerseys and sharing ideas for new designs the Anaheim Ducks’ may look to use.  If you ever have questions about a certain jersey or a sizing issue I am your man!

My favorite player on Ducks, and hockey in general, is Teemu Selanne.  I had the privilege of meeting him at a “Dux in Tux” event.  He was polite and classy as always.  I hope to get to meet him one more time before he retires.

Other than Ducks Hockey, I keep myself busy with my wife, school, and working out.  I like to run for miles on end as well!  I look forward to having some good conversations about Ducks’ with everyone!
