The injuries continue to pile up for the Anaheim Ducks, as now Teemu Selanne left their game against the Philadelphia Flyers in the third period after taking a high stick to the face and then bouncing his head on the ice on the way down.

He was down for several moments, causing a stoppage in the play so he could be attended too. He was helped up and off the ice.

His injury is the latest of a mounting list of injuries during their current road trip. They lost center Saku Koivu on Sunday against the Columbus Blue Jackets and Jakob Silfverberg is out after breaking his hand earlier in the trip. Mathieu Perreault returned to lineup tonight after missing time and Dustin Penner is still out after suffering a concussions.

After getting off to a rough start to the road trip, the Ducks have won their last three games after beating the Flyers 3-2. If Selanne is out an extended time, look for players like Emerson Etem and Andrew Cogliano will have to increase production to try and replace their fourth leading scorer in Selanne.
